I know this picture is a little dramatic, but it does reflect how I feel with the thought of all the assignments due this week. My goal was to finish my research on Rosenblatt's Transactional Theory and begin my paper. Since I thoroughly enjoyed research during undergrad, I thought this would be a piece of cake. I have never been so wrong. Turns out after almost seven years since I wrote my final research paper, I'm more than a little rusty. I will try again tomorrow and hope for better results.
Planning for my health lesson plan was relatively pain free, compared to my research attempt. I find the topic fascinating and think that the content will allow students to better understand Grampa's behaviors along with the long lasting effects of war.
I completely feel the same way. However, I know that once we buckle down and the candle starts burning at both ends, we will get our act together and get it all finished. Just think, two more weeks of work and stress and we will have two more classes under our belt.
ReplyDeleteOh yes. Sometimes when things get a bit hairy the unthinkable happens...ideas accompanied by flying fingers at the keys. Almost there girls...
ReplyDeleteI feel like your image, only the guy version :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE all this stress! NOT. Ok, Martina, we can do this, we all just need to focus and take it one step at a time.
ReplyDeleteYes, we all feel like this! But I know we can get through this-there is a light at the end of the tunnel :)
ReplyDeleteHi Tina, don't freak out when I send you emails at 3 or 4 in the morning because that is when the work is being done :) I so want to pull my hair out just thinking of all the assignments we have to accomplish by this week. The sad part is I haven't even scratched the surface. I know we can all get through this. I am glad you enjoyed creating your lesson plan.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, let us all pull our hair together but I think you ladies may feel the effect of this action more painful than us men. So in the manner of peace, let us all take a deep a breathe and figure out how we can finish all the assignments for the week.
ReplyDeleteThis will surely be the last time I take summer class like this ...because WE will be graduating before next summer. Yepeee...
