My last night together with my MAT cohorts in ED641. Funny thing - the two classes we share are at opposite extremes...meaning to say one is extremely hot and the other extremely cold.
Dr. Rivera - safe travel to you! Thank you for today's lesson which I will add to my tool kit. I really enjoyed the "sketch to stretch" activity as I realized that different people can have different perspectives on the same sketch. I found that we also feed off each other's sharing. A worthwhile strategy to use in my classroom. And who would say that they did not like the last activity where two strengths are mentioned for each student? That was fun and it played on your ego. Good night!

This was a great class and I will miss it very much. I liked the fact that everyday was full of on hands activities that I can emphasize in my own classroom.
ReplyDeleteBye Ev , only for a lttle while though ...and it is true. These exercises truly help us to view situations through various perspectives.
ReplyDeleteI will miss getting into our groups and hearing everyone's perspective on our topic. It was fun. Good luck to all on finishing everything else.
ReplyDeleteEvelyn,
ReplyDeleteYou're most welcome! Thank you for the wishes, and I look forward to reading all of your submissions in our ED641 Moodleroom. Good luck!
