R U Listening

Today's class was somewhat a refresher on our educational psychology class. I was so happy that we still remember that "Schema" concept. The various activities we did also helpp us see where we stand on our understanding of the micronesian culture or our neighboring islanders. I did a poor job on both activities and look forward to memorizing the basic greeting's to gain some open relationships with my future students.

Laslty, I am learning alot of methods and activities in this class and storing them in my bags of teaching tools. The listening game was fun and I got to know alot about my partners views on the topics and see our similarities of views pertaining to the topics shared. We did really well and both each other an "A" for attentiveness.

Next week again for newer tricks and ideas!

  1. Don't feel bad about the activities but instead be happy that you did very well on your listening skills. For sure this will be one of the most important skills you will use as a teacher, not to mention the additional activities Dr. Rivera is giving us.Keep up the good work.

  3. Yes, this class is teaching me a lot of different methods and interesting activities. I will certainly use many of Dr. Rivera's strategies when I become a teacher.
