Last face-to-face session :(

Dr. Rivera!

Well, tonight is our last face-to-face meeting for this class. Just like ALL of our other class meetings, we learned more activities to ADD to our list for our students to do. I enjoyed the Sketch to Stretch activity because we were able to draw a reflection of our reading not draw a story from the book. So, this activity allows students to reflect and interpret the meaning of what they read from the book. Students will be able to understand the book in another way. Another activity we did was the Literacy Strategies. It was a great activity to help break down and focus on a specific part of the book, learn a new word, and use it in a sentence. So, this activity helps build vocabulary as well. Also, we did the pea activity, and I was able to positively reflect on characteristics about my classmates. You all are great classmates, and I'm glad to be going through the program together :) So, this activity is also great for our students to write something positive about their classmates.

And last, we had a great last session! Thank you all for the GOOD food :)
Dr. Rivera, Have a safe and fun trip!

  3. I really like all the activities we did in the class. Aside from helping us understand the topic better, we learn more about ourselves and our classmates.
