Evelyn's June 7, 2010 Reflections

An afternoon of many activities. I believe my first attempt in a literature circle went well. I surprized by some of the shared reflections and admire all of our uniqueness. I really liked the graffiti board as I was brainstorming its application in math classes. The reader's theather or creating script out of a story (in this case 3 Billy Goats Gruff) was too funny that I must share with my husband. As for meeting with my group, I have full trust and confidence that our elaboration and cooperation will be successful.

  1. I couldn't help myself from laughing during the reader's theater. Hehe! The students will definitely love that activity.

  8. Reader's Theater to me seemed kind of corny, but I guess it was the audience that this particular activity was designed for which created for the corniness. I can see it working with older students... if done properly.

  9. Yes Ev, we are all unique and also very united in some of our thoughts and feelings, although our experiences may be very different.
